Class Details
An introduction to the study of human growth and development from conception through emerging adulthood. Topics for discussion include prenatal development, perceptual and motor development, language acquisition, cognitive development, and social and emotional development. These topics form the basis for a discussion of the major theories of human development, including early experience, neural plasticity, social learning, cognitive-developmental, and ethological models.
