Specifically, the course will introduce students to a useful computer programming language for time series econometrics known as RATS. The course will also review important mathematical tools such as matrix algebra and difference equations, and introduce students to some basic conceptual building blocks for time series analysis, such as moving average process and autoregressive processes.
