Class Details
Students will continue to develop technical skills, and the emotional and intellectual resources, required for the actor. The focus will be on the issue of characterization strongly based on the foundational works of Stanislavski. The means of study and experimentation will be intense scene work requiring thorough preparation and beneficial collaboration. Improvisation and other exercises will be used to complement the textual work. The dramatic texts providing scenes for class will be exclusively from the early realist works onward.
