Class Details
An introduction to the resources available to the Stage Director for translating interpretive concepts into stageworthy physical realization. Kinetic and visual directorial controls, as well as textual implications and elements of dramatic structure, will be studied in detail.

Requirements/Evaluation:
evaluation will be based principally on committed participation in the preparation and performance of production exercises; there will be some written assignments, including the assembly of directing production books and critiques of several productions
Prerequisites:
Theatre 103 or permission of instructor
