This course focuses on grammar, elementary composition, practice in conversation, and reading of easy modern prose. It is taught by the intensive oral method.
Format: lecture; The class meets five hours a week; students will complete workbook and lab exercises weekly.
Grading: no pass/fail option,
no fifth course option

RLSP 101; this course is for students who have studied less than two years of Spanish in secondary school
Students who have completed RLSP 101 in the Fall of 2020.
Students in RLSP 101-102 are normally required to attend and pass the sustaining program during the winter study period only if both semesters (RLSP 101 and 102) are taken. In 2020-21 WS activities are highly encouraged and announced via GLOW.
