Class Details

This course is not a continuation of RLSP 105, and there is no need to take it if the student has successfully completed 105 with a grade of B- or above. Written and oral work will be based on selected short stories by Latin-American writers. weekly compositions, plus regular exercises in the language laboratory.
The Class: Limit: 20
Grading: yes pass/fail option, yes fifth course option
Requirements/Evaluation: a weekly essay based on the stories read in class, written laboratory exercises, participation in the grammatical and literary discussions, quizzes, a midterm, and a final exam
Prerequisites: RLSP 103, RLSP 104 or results of the Williams College placement exam
Enrollment Preferences: first-years, then sophomores, then juniors, and then seniors, with priority to those considering a major in Spanish
