Class Details
A course in basic problems and possibilities that arise in the composition of memoir. Individual meetings with the instructor will be available. Class sessions will be devoted to the discussion of both published and student work. Students will receive written critiques from other students as well as the instructor. Evaluation will be based on class participation, critiques of classmates’ work, the successful completion of several writing exercises, two workshop pieces, and a final portfolio of 25 pages of memoir.
No prerequisites. Enrollment limited to 12. Selection will be based on writing samples.

Requirements/Evaluation:
