Class Details
In this class we will read scientific articles about two interrelated topics. One is societal issues in schooling, such as fads, charter schools, tracking, dropping out, international differences, and segregation. The other is principles in the cognitive psychology of learning, such as desirable difficulty, that can be used to improve educational practice.
